I haven’t had a chance to draw much lately; so this lineart was done many weeks ago, and only partly coloured today. I had so much trouble picking colours; I procrastinate on colour planning, and the specific colours that the character HAS to have (like eye and hair colour) and SHOULDN’T have (for various reasons) didn’t really help my colour choice much. I guess this is the consequence. ):
On the other hand, I’ve been so on work craze for the past few days that I had that feverish feeling again when I go to sleep, just like a couple of weeks ago when my schedule was jampacked. I read a few hundred pages of textbook text (that’s incredible for me because I am ever so slow on reading) and practiced so much. At times like these I start to stop caring and lose motivation to do anything, even stuff I like to do, and just finish whatever that’s at hand. I would start questioning what I felt over the past few days, only failing to feel anything at all. K something happier. Church people are all so nice :) I got an accompaniment job for an Easter service at an Anglican church my friend goes to; everyone there are so caring and bright and cheerful that I feel guilty taking their payment. (especially after hearing that they had a bake sale or something to gather funds to pay me…) They gave me a card and a bouquet right before the performance; it made me feel so happy and loved. Now that I think about it, everytime I come home from their practice I would be talkative and cheerful instead of passive like any other time. But, no, sorry, that won’t make me turn Christian. |
Oh yes, songs! I like Rurutia’s singing style; too bad all of her songs are sappy. I like 2 of them though; Chou no Mori and Hallelujah. Nice songs :D I can repeat them all day and piss my roommate off horray.
I also got this weirdo program from a friend… that lets me change music. So I made a fast version of flow from Naruto (it sounded like a kids band rofl) and a clip of the super slow version of crawling in the dark by hoobastank. It was so addictively fun x)
