For the manga site. It’s a tree from afar with branch-roots reaching into a thin layer of water. The brown hue gave it a kind of smoggish feel; I just want a misty effect, nothing suffocating, since it is a depiction of some holy ground underground. Blue/gray may help but they make a kind of distracting background colour in this pastel-ish style I am drawing in.

Amazing job shilin, This new layout is quite the eye catcher. hmmm…Rounded edges…I think I prefer the square edges. XD Do you plan on changing the site’s song as well?

@ mica: rounded edges doesn’t seem too fitting in my eye… that and I can’t make scrollbars rounded without using a lot of coding tricks and take browser compatibility into question. (damn the diversity D= ) As for the box, I made it to accomodate 800×600 resolution. The menu bar and the content frame fit into 800×600, and the bigger your screenres is, the more side decoration you’ll see filling up the window, with optimal view size at 1280×1024.

Wow!!! I love it love it love it!!!! But…I find the font colour dark, too dark, I would consider a more readable colour.

maybe you could make rounded edges or something for the content box in the middle and menubar, and perhaps make the content box bit larger unless you’re aiming for it to accomodate certain resolutions. so you could show more information.
I think it looks really cool, though.

Wow, it’s so pretty, just like the one for your artsite. Though I like this better; it’s dark and has some mysterious feel to it (for me).

Hm…is there any way to make the black/dark gray square in the square a little more transparent? I want to see the rest of the picture. But otherwise, it’s a lovely layout.
