SO LIKE I DIED FOR 1 MONTH. playing games… preparing for cons… flying to places and shit. well half of it was playing games. but I guess I’m back~ School starts in about 2 weeks, (frosh week starts in 1 but I’m not a frosh) no more summer… 4 months went by so fast and uh, differently than planned. I planned so many things that I would do for myself and projects that I would accomplish, which I did none. Instead, I took up a game and had a good time. The cons that I’ve went to earned me some $$$ and experience and friends; I got to see things and travel for free and meet so many people that would otherwise be called CYBERFRIENDS WHO ARE NOT REALLY REAL LIKE REAL FRIENDS
It also kinda changed my idea of what I want to do in the future… I’ve been convinced (or half convinced) to follow a job and a hobby and they do not cross, as that is the most healthy thing to do, but from time to time, whenever I get an opportunity like this to feel like I have the power, to feel like I should change my mind; but no >(
ok onto the cons~!@$^
AE was a smaller con than any of the other ones I’ve attended (although after seeing their badge policy, I just think that the attendance count is low cus they have shitty registration management), but it’s like comparing Canada to China: everyone that’s there feels friendlier and I feel less insignificant in the ocean of people. PLUS JUDY AND LANI ARE JUST HYLARIOUSLY FUNNY LOL we had such an awesomely weird time together. I met kurot, janet, amy, janice, acerynn, betty, kl, and some other people that I don’t recall at this hour. I got drawing gifts and little models of my charas(by janice) and even a kickass COSPLAY OF BLACKBIRD OMG (by acerynn). I was happy and happy and like, happy. There were people that read my comics and stuff and it feels so nice to hear it (have I said this at previous entries already? yes? no? :[ ). There was this really cute girl with her parents that came up to me all frightened and stuff to ask me for advice and buy stuff (I forgot your name/username )= ); I felt so sorry to terrify her so much LOL;; I feel the same towards many other people, I understand and the most I could do was to make sure people know that it’s not a big deal and I’m not a big deal. I also did well in my sales and it even covered all my costs of flying all the way to Vancouver, so I’m pleased :D:D:D:D
Vancouver’s a pretty weird place… It’s all beautiful and stuff and everyone follow the basic rules pretty well (garbage, etc) and it’s been rated as the best place to live in the world for a while. But after hearing stories of unpleasant encounters from my aunt over there, I don’t really feel safe or comfortable living/staying there. Not to mention the stuff about earthquakes and shit….
CNAnime: is like 85% non-anime, that + my shitty table locations + my mad unleetness = no profit!!1 well I did, surprisingly, get decent profit (same as otakon except this time I don’t have to pay for hotels and such). but it’s definitely the wrong crowd that I’m targetting there. However I was seated next to boram and her friend vanessa, and they’re ALSO HYLARIOUSLY WEIRD LOL. If I weren’t in their company I’d probably be bored to death from the lack of customers. Well them and my friend, Chris, who I talked games with for hours and scared away some of my customers. The rest of the time I spent drawing commissions, trying to make up the lack of income. I drew some things that I wanted to keep but they were picked up and I had to part with them )= and I basically stayed at my booth the whole time I was there so I didn’t know what’s going on at the rest of the con… or the rest of the room even.

Wow that’s some amazing Blackbird cosplay and the little Veloce figure just gushes with cuteness. Dammit I wanted to go to CNAnime too -__-! Wait if you noticed the con had more anime stuff than anything else , was there two(or more) conventions going on at once. From what I’ve heard this is almost as big as anime north. Hopefully I’ll make it next year and great to hear you had fun in Vancouver.

Hey, I met you again at CNA, after first meeting you at AN. ^_^; I was only barely able to say “Hi…” to you, congratulate you for the animation of your comic and take a pic of you and your table (yes, again…), as it was a bit awkward to speak to you while not knowing what to talk about. Actually, I stood near you at times, because I was waiting for someone, and I was trying to use your “popularity” to make that person spot me easier. I later went to Kaze-Hime’s booth for the same reason. But in the end, she didn’t show up, so I walked away. -_- By the way, there was something I wanted to show you, but since I was a bit shy and you looked quite busy doing your commissions, I went away so as to not disturb you. Well then, see you at “another convention”! (I’m sorry for being a “useless” guy standing near you.) P.S.: You’re saying you missed out what was happening at the rest of the con. Well, there was this big pillow fight in the Dealers area, with 3-4 girls fighting, and a huge crowd was around them. xD Apart from that, nothing much happened, but the Masquerade (which I attended) was very great!
