I forgot that today (or tomorrow?) is Chinese NY until someone messaged me on MSN. I was cleaning out my binder at the moment and found this, so I slapped on some Chinese and voila, NY greeting scrap =D This was done last term near the end of the term. I was on a doll-drawing roll and I wanted to make a westernized Chinese æ ¼æ ¼ dress with their crazy flower crown.
And why did I forget about Chinese NY? Because so much shit happened last week and this week. On top of the misfortunes I posted, we almost got into a car accident over the weekend while driving back to Toronto because of the weather; our car slided off the shoulder of the road in slush and almost hit the speed sign before stopping. After getting towed out of the ditch, we didn’t realize that the tires were coated with a layer of snow because the ditch was filled with snow from the storm, and when we got to the black spot around Woodstock, the road was frozen and we had to drive at like, 40km/hr and still struggling for control. The slightest motion my dad steers in attempt to keep the car straight makes the car swing all over the place. That plus those insane truckers that vroom past us with their 37 wheels and splashing slush all over our windshield equals to WTFSCARY. We made it home alive after 6 hours of nonstop concentrated driving, but we had to spend another hour (at 1 in the morning) to shovel the fucking ice wall that formed in front of our drive way from the snow-shoveling trucks that went by.
The next two days of the weekend was spent going to the dentist, optometrist, supermarket, shopping for essentials, spending time talking to my mom, and getting nothing done in general. I skipped a class on Monday morning because AX artist alley registration got messed up and it took an hour to fix. Lucky I still managed to get the tables (for myself, JC, Chris, Nicole and Lani) while some people were less fortunate )= I was taking my damn sweet time to pay too because I thought I got the tables after I hit “reserve”; bought the tables after entering my card # wrong 3 times because I changed cards recently and I keep entering my old #, then I was like wtf when I heard stories of people seeing tables being sold out in the middle of paying. Unfortunately I forgot there was an assignment due on Monday and didn’t find out until today… -A- and here I am, still hands full of shit that I have to finish, GUHHH
K let’s go finish these shits )= 4 more weeks til most of it is over……………………
