LONG POST AHEAD!

K so where do I start… FROM THE VERY BEGINNING I GUESS, since there’s no simplifying

First week of March: had like 3 things due that week that are major components of my classes, which includes my solo recital, and ginormous theory assignment and quiz, and a 45-minute presentation for piano literature–although the latter is not so bad because the prof is nice and easy in that class. Highlight of the week: MY VIDEO CARD BROKE FROM THE RIDE FROM AND TO LONDON BECAUSE I DIDN’T TAKE IT OFF OF THE COMPUTER FIRST. My dad was all like ohstopnaggingibetit’llbefine… and didn’t say anything after it did indeed stop functioning. He was trying to find all sorts of other reasons why the card suddenly stopped working too )= No video card = no game and no drawing = gg for me?

The recital on the other hand was decent; I was completely blinded by the stage lights, and I managed to keep it secret quite well that not many people came to give me pressure, so it felt pretty natural to play there. However I did lose interest about half way through, and was kind of not focusing too well until I started messing up technically, after which I focused completely on the thought “omgimesseduplol”. Fortunately, it ended well, as I did not strike the last chord wrong, and the chances of that was like 50/50 because I didn’t try to fix it until a week before. I spent most of the free time that week practicing… I’ve never practiced so much continuously in my life lolol D: It was pretty fun, but things only go downhill from then on. Especially after I went out for dinner with my roommate and eating really spicy stuff despite not feeling so well in my throat. And I KNEW WHAT WAS COMING

Second week of March: more stuff due… on top of that I GOT THE FLU LOL;; not just cold, a real flu. It started with a full weekend fever when I am without fever remedies, then it went onto another full week of drowse and cough of death. I missed all of my classes, and two of the nights I couldn’t sleep at all because I’d have to cough my souls out every few minutes. My stock of vegetables were also destroyed somehow in the fridge by the cold, and sickness without medicine or fruits/veges=lols. I did manage to drink a lot of hot water and bought some Benylin, but the latter made me feel like I was on crack the whole time so I couldn’t do anything but sleep. Eventually i got better after my mom sent me the package of life, but as I was proceeding to cook something decent after starving somewhat for 1 week, the building went on maintenance and I was without water lol. My roommate was nice enough to help buy me medicine and cough relief; she got me something called “Fisherman’s Friend”…

well… IT’S MY ARCHNEMESIS CUS IT TASTES SO HORRIBLE. I couldn’t even finish 1 tablet before I had to spit it out and I didn’t get used to the taste until the 4th or 5th time I force myself to take it (for my own benefit, I guess I’m a masochist in that way). It kind of worked, though I did take 3 other different things along with it so I’m not sure which one was the miracle pill.

3rd and 4th week: I had to make up for the assignments I’ve missed, as well as other projects that are due including even more assignments and quizzes, orchestration score and a proposal for an essay, and I didn’t know about half of these until the last minute because I wasn’t there in class when the prof announced new materials. This involved many nights of 3AM sleeping. Nonetheless, I did buy a new video card and am back to awesome… at least hard work is now balanced by hard game. But to top it off with a wonderful note, I forgot about Anime North Artist Alley registration so I didn’t get a table AGAIN, and have to once more rely on the contest to see if I could win a table. But I heard it sold out in 30 seconds, and I originally planned to give it at least a minute to make sure my application is not sent too early, so I probably wouldn’t have gotten it anyway had I remembered. WOE IS ME

Now onto less rantily stuff…

I was using an RO forum quite a bit to catch up with stuff I’ve missed, and somehow I accepted an art trade which resulted in a few more subsequent trades (should’ve used these to make some money…). I tried to justify it by considering it a chance for me to draw more in general and be more proficient and efficient since I’m such an epic failure and can’t even draw really simple stuff fast. Here are a few more…

Trying to make simple looking things look OK without putting too much work in them; they’re still time-consuming though. I don’t know why everything I do is time-consuming.

Homuns are really sweet tanks because of their immunity to mob flee reduction (YES I’M A GENIUS, I FIGURE THIS OUT AFTER LIKE 90 LEVELS OF AFKING). I just can’t touch that or I die lol

Lv 92. And I swear, this chemist is gonna 99 faster than my priest (97 at 40% atm); on average, every day of afk gives me at least 7 mil exp, which is at least 3 hours of manual leveling on my priest in Ice Dungeon. Why didn’t I make the chemist on another account? lol :(

And that’s all I have today… 3 more weeks then FREEDOM? HOPEFULLY??
