so yesterday I woke up and tried to sit down on a chair, and my back hurt like I’m an 80-year-old lmfao I was like WHAT. It took a while for me to be able to move do stuff normally and pick up things… I think I slept on my stomach for way too long or something. Can’t tell my parents cus they’d be like omg it’s the computer IT’S THE COMPUTER, WE KNEW IT WAS GOING TO DESTROY YOU THEN TAKE OVER THE WORLD
but it’s ok, I have google ): I’ll find a way to get rid of it.
happy 80th birthday to me yesterday I guess!

I get that too. .__.
But if I tell my parents, they wouldn’t blame the computer; they’ll panic and bring me to the doctor to make sure it’s not the starting symptoms of some incurable disease.
Not that I mind so much lol
But looks like it’s nothing serious *refers to Shaolin’s post* :)
Hope you get better soon~!
Happy 80th! XDDD;

It’s nothing to worry about. Most likely it’s a muscle strain along the back and hips or a mixture of muscle knots along the spine. The normal curviture of the lower spine should be around 37 degrees, so since you were sleeping on your stomach you probabily irritating some tight areas that we all have. Not to mention the amoutn of compresion that area typically recieves with every daily movement. Heating pads and moist heat should loosen the knots.
I know that Chiropracters are expensive so just poke around on you back to see where the knots are located– rub them out and apply heat to get the blood flowing nd loosen the muscle. A strained muscle is hard as a rock and you can tell where they are by just a simple touch (normal muscles are squishy and pliable).
Don’t crack your back because, while i temperarily relases endorphines I can compress stressed nerves and worsen the pain in the long run. Just lay on a pack of corn or peas (becuase the small shapes allow a better fit along the body as supposed to ice) then apply heat. Repeat a few times.
Remember: Ice numbs the pain while heat allows the body to heal

What part of the back hurts. It’s is along the trapizius muscle, or is it along the spine (i.e the lumbar region)

I guess this is why they say it’s important to stretch when you first wake up o_o!
