The Intuos replacements actually aren’t super expensive (for the basic black ones) because you just buy the Bamboo replacement nibs, lawls. Last I checked, they’re about $1 each, which isn’t so bad provided that you don’t burn through them like real pencils. X(

  2. I habitually press really hard when I draw ): I do the same with pencils. My board is still alive because I put a protective layer over it (a cutout from a binder LOLOLOL) but I guess one of them’s gotta break before the other!

and good thing intuos gives you replacements; if I got an intuos and it doesn’t come with nibs…. I’ll be a very very sad person )’:

Graphire nibs last foreeeever. I’ve had my Intuos for less than 6 months and my nib’s already starting to look like that. The friction is so much higher. x-x WACOM thought ahead and gave me 5 replacement nibs…never thought I’d have to use one so soon though.

That’s pretty epic lol. Mine’s the opposite. My pen is still well-preserved but the tablet is full of scratches and unremovable beverage stains from trying to make it double task as a coaster, haha. :(

Wait? What! How on earth do you use that nib! I think mine has replacement nibs, though don’t trust me because I only got mine October this year! 10 years old? I thing thats how old my computer is, and this keeps needing to be wiped becuase it’s so slow! Well.. t’s a nice pen BTW :D

  6. Graphre 2…dang that evensounds ancient lol! Your post made me go onto wacom’s site and see how much replacement nibs for my tablet(the bamboo fun) would cost. Boy, if only they’d give you 2 or 3 replacements to start out with. Here’s to hoping you can get a little morel life out of it before it’s time for a new one.

  7. yep, it’s a wacom graphire 2! I don’t intend on replacing the nib though, if it ever gets completely worn out, it’ll be time for a new tablet cus this thing is 10 years old ROFL

  8. It’s like a reversed angle! Don’t think I’ve seen a tablet pen that colour…is that from a wacom*is curious*?

You better replace it as soon as you can before it becomes impossible to pull it out, even with your teeth!! Haha!
