Maybe this is a strange reaction to this video, but this video touches my heart and this video reflects very well the reason why I wanted to and enjoyed studying music. sadly I’ve given up. I guess I still have art!

oh and I totally want to own the documentary in this video. I don’t understand half the things they’re saying because of their accent BUT I DON’T CARE

I should be ashamed but I love shit like this. well until he got to the end. if it weren’t for the end I’d be tempted to learn it lol

anime north nonsense coming up when I’m not so brain dead ffffff

  1. Wait, you've given up on piano? Why? Did you study it so much that you got tired of it?
Are you going into full-time graphic design and/or illustration now?

  2. victor: haha, I'm actually not very acquainted with horowitz's play style, but from what I've seen of him, jest and control seems to be my favourite thing of him.

eizu: I probably won't go back to music again except for entertainment (or desperate money-making) but when I get back to playing again, maybe I'll make more recordings to post (:

Awesome vid! I don't know much about pianists and all, but I really do love to hear classics in youtube when i have free time! It makes my mood really calm and happy. XD

    "Music is controlled emotion" ♫ . ♥

You graduated major in piano, and i don't really know what your plan is. But I think that you would want to stay into the CG world for a while. Well, I hope you'll publish a vid on yourself playing piano someday. I really admired all of your works! :D

  4. Hmm, Horowitz. I've always loved his interpretation of music, especially Liszt. I've been listening to his style for Poulenc's pieces because I think he achieves the color of the piece required. And I have a piano competition with trois novelettes as the required piece anyways. >.<
