And it’s donnneee I like it better than the other cover I don’t like it by itself lmfao. I think I’m going to turn up the contrast and throw in some crazy lights when laying out the cover. I’m still trying to find a way I like to paint faces, because I can use harsh and angular lines when I sketch, but when I paint everyone’s faces turn all soft and smooth and lose their personality just because of my brush strokes.

I didn't, I actually draw that previous cover last april, so that'd make it 10 months instead! I uploaded it so late because I was going to upload it when I print the book (I expected to print it relatively quickly, but as you can see that did not happen lmfao)

D: I haven't commented in your work for a long time, but I've been secretly watching. ;) It's really makes me excited that you are about to print Blackbird, but I hope there won't be slots or any convention-only exclusives because I would definitely want a copy!
