I don’t like it anymore lol ): Sometimes I wish I don’t have short term memory or something (ok truthfully I wouldn’t wish for something like that) so the picture will remain fresh to my eyes. I think I’ll switch back to painting for my next original piece though, layerspamming cel pics are fun but the finished picture usually looks unfinished to me after I stare at it for a while lol.

Shilin I'm so proud of you, I know you really wanted to add a detailed cityscape to that background, complete with neon-lit signs and maybe birds and feathers and some chains or fire hydrants.
1 illustration per week GOOO.
Also I think it would really help this image if you put a gradient on the inside of that umbrella. Your cel shading looks fantastic but the umbrella sticks out like a sore thumb because it's so flat. :(

Aww, more AU Blackbird people doing normal everyday things! I approve. I love your paintings but there's something about how clean and distinct the picture is as a whole, it's easy to take-in. Not to mention it's all happy and carefree~ Keri pictures always make me smile in unhealthy doses C:

It is strange to see you working with this kind of coloring, yet quite refreshing since you haven't done much in this style for a while (and it's TOO gorgeous). Normally one would say "If you had spent just a little more time it would have looked like what you had in mind" but in your case it would be something among the lines of "if you had taken three more weeks…" Relax, you did a geat work once again :)

Keri looks really good in those clothes and the soft atmosphere is wonderful. The way you did Weirin's hair killed me. I can't stop looking D8 The umbrella could use a little more shading butwhocaresaboutthatwhenkeriandweirinarethere :D
What about something similar to the Hearth Side commission you made? It's been one of my favorite pieces of yours because I am a huge RO fan and the painting itself is just great. You could try doing something with that kind of friendly group atmosphere with several characters (though it might take up an obscene amount of time?).
Also, high priest = veloce, osiris = blackbird, champ = keri, sniper = weirin /shot

I can imagine how much effort a group piece would take. What about a one of Vocruen and Veloce from the past? Wait no you've done that. Um, Veloce's mother? Could be massive spoilers though, if you want to keep how she looks a secret until it's revealed in the manga.

If dA didn't have ridiculous shipping, people would buy prints. Specifically, me. A lot of your pieces are worth placing on walls. Basilica in particular! Does dA provide stats as to how many times a certain print has been purchased? You could use those to see what kind of works people like.
