Thank you for visiting Ashen-Ray! I hope you have enjoyed your stay. Please feel free to leave your thoughts about the visit on this guestbook, and come back often!
I really admire your art. I honestly can't describe how much I've fallen in love with it. The colors you use are really lovely and the way you present it leaves a big impression on me.
I am honestly bad at describing. But, your art is really beautiful.~<3
Carciphona is a wonderful story too, I hope you don't mind me asking but, how do you read Veloce's name?
I was also wondering how much money I would have to add if I was going to buy Carciphona internationally?
Thank you ^^ veloce's name is read as VEL-loss. I took it originally from the italian word veloce solely because it looked nice to the eye and that I can read it easily, but apparently this as not the case as no one really knows how to read it haha
International shipping is $10 CAD, but because the store I have now only accepts USD and USD is less than CAD, it will be 11 USD to cover for conversion losses.
I've been following your illustrations and your comic for a few years now and I must say both of them have never failed to amaze me and probably never will. Thank you for sharing the products of your incredible skill and awesome imagination with us , and with regard to your comic, a refreshing story and interesting characters ( of course accompanied by excellent artwork as well).
Your work and attention to details is inspirational, and motivates me to get off my butt (so to speak — I don't actually draw standing up) and take the time needed to finish any work I start. Love your originality, your style, and your frankness. Have a pleasant day. :)
I actually think I remember you from when I was a little girl new to the internet several years ago. Distinctly, I remember a little boy character with green hair and glasses. :] I was maybe in the later part of middle school/ early high school…now I'm in my later years of college and am stumbling upon your work again. You've grown so much…and still such an inspiration. How wonderful it is to see artists like you develop and master their passion so thoroughly. Your artwork is filled with gorgeous detail that I don't have the patience for as a growing artist myself. Really hope to someday implement the mastery you've displayed in my own work and finally learn those skills I've needed for so long to start pushing my own manga projects forward. <3
One of your new submissions, Shatter in my Hands, only shows up as the same thumbnail when I open it :C Is this intentional as if you'll only show the full picture after publication/if we buy the book?
Awesome to see you're still making art, Shilin! And you've never stopped improving! It's been a pleasure to watch you grow as an artist for the past decade :D I can only hope I can be as inspiring to someone else one day lol
